READY TO OPEN NEW DOORS?
“Good questions are what open people up, open new doors and create opportunities” (Alex Blumberg)
Welcome back! I hope you’re enjoying the ride with me so far. Today's newsletter will be a bit different. It’s meant as a thought experiment and I will keep it short: I want this to be fun, energizing and insightful for you.
From my own, personal experience, I can tell you that one seemingly random question can spark a powerful transformation. That question will be unique to each of you, but it has the potential to unlock meaningful change in your life.
Asking “what is bitcoin?” completely reshaped my perspective on more or less everything, although my interest in money and technology was quite restrained at that time. It changed my game, even though I was in the middle of experiencing tough times, personally (see my newsletter on Take Control). It opened doors to amazing people and resources. You never know where a single question can take you!
Let’s embrace the power of curiosity and transfer the quote from below for your own purposes ;-)
“The best thing to do is giving people questions they’re not expecting” (Mike Birbiglia)
QUESTIONS THAT CHALLENGE YOUR STATUS QUO (AND MIGHT BRING UNFORESEEN CHANGE)
Ready to shake things up?
“What are the biggest wastes of my time?”
“Will a certain decision make my future easier or harder?”
“What changes can I make in my own life to promote conditions I do want?”
“What interesting things am I working on and why do I find them interesting?”
“What are the worst things that could happen if I decided walking a new way?”
“What has always interested me, but I never felt brave enough to have a closer look or inform myself on the topic?”
“Who trained and influenced me and how did that provide me with a different perspective?”
“Where do I restrain myself and why?”
“Do I stress-test my most treasured beliefs enough?”
Take some time this week to ponder some of the questions? Let me know which ones resonate most with you!
